Job summary

AA is seeking an experienced mobile vehicle mechanic to perform servicing and repairs at customers' homes or workplaces, using provided tools and support. You will diagnose faults, explain repairs clearly to customers, and manage jobs independently while upholding high workmanship and service standards.

You’ll earn guaranteed £40,000-£42,000 with potential up to £2,000 additional performance incentive and a £1,000 first-year sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) with solid servicing experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) with diagnostics/repair experience.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
• Flexibility to work the advertised rota, including Saturdays.
• Professional, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs at customers’ homes or workplaces.
• Diagnose faults where appropriate and identify solutions.
• Explain repairs and technical information clearly to customers.
• Manage your day and scheduled jobs independently.
• Deliver high workmanship and customer service standards.
