Mobile Measurement Technician - Halewood, Liverpool - 36138402 - £26.93/hr - Inside IR35

Ensuring the World Class Exterior and Interior Quality our vehicles merit is the remit of the Dimensional Systems team. We are responsible for all elements of Dimensional Quality, such as Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) of product design, defining and delivering the Measurement and Metrology strategy, through to quality Maturation of new vehicles through launch.

What You Will Do:

• Operate advanced metrology hardware safely and efficiently.
• Create and execute detailed measurement programs using industry-leading software.
• Investigate and resolve part measurement issues with precision and expertise.
• Produce high-quality inspection reports in formats such as PDF, Excel, and STL.
• Collaborate with engineers and plant teams to ensure measurement requests are completed to the highest standards.
• Support machine verification and preventative maintenance activities.

What You Will Bring:

• Strong mobile inspection skills and a deep understanding of measurement principles.
• Proficiency in using GOM, Polyworks, articulated arms, laser trackers, and similar systems.
• Knowledge of GD&T and the ability to work with BIW and T&F parts and assemblies.
• Excellent IT skills and the ability to create professional inspection reports.
• A full driving licence and the flexibility to travel across various sites as required.
