Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Operative to support our care homes, schools and residential sites across Swansea and surrounding areas. You will handle general repairs, carpentry and maintenance tasks with a hands-on approach, and coordinate with the Facilities Manager to prioritise work on site.

You will travel between sites using a company van, work full-time from 08:30 to 17:30 with a 40-hour week, and be expected to complete DBS checks.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in joinery, carpentry and general maintenance.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• DBS disclosure will be undertaken as part of recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
• Fix fire doors, patch walls and perform minor plumbing tasks.
• Supervise external contractors when required.
• Manage allocated monthly spend and track materials used.
• Attend training courses and keep tools maintained.
