We are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our Building Services team on-site in Scotland. The role involves providing scheduled and reactive maintenance services to clients.

You’ll:

  • Carry out and complete planned maintenance tasks within desired timescales
  • Set up, monitor, and keep equipment properly adjusted, including daily checks
  • Promptly report problems and incidents, and respond to client inquiries and complaints positively
  • Communicate effectively, make decisions, deliver results, and be flexible with working hours
  • Supervise subcontractors and monitor progress, discussing solutions as needed
  • Instruct and induct subcontractors to Skanska’s standards through quality checks
  • Apply relevant health & safety practices, assess work risks

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Experience as a commercial gas engineer in service and maintenance
  • Gas Safe certification and a full driving license
  • COCN 1 - Core commercial gas safety
  • CIGA1 - Commission, service, repair & breakdown of commercial indirect-fired heating appliances & equipment
  • CORT1 - Commission, service, repair & breakdown of gas-fired commercial overhead luminous radiant heaters
  • ICPN1 - Installation first fix of commercial pipework
