Job summary
CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established site in Devon and the South West, working Monday to Friday on a single-site healthcare portfolio. You will be responsible for day-to-day M&E maintenance, ensuring safe, compliant operations and coordinating with subcontractors as needed.
The role offers autonomy, a 09:00–17:00 style day with paid lunch and a stable, shift-free environment.
Qualifications
- Level 2 or Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Full driving license.
- Experience in building services / facilities maintenance.
- Ability to work independently on a single engineer site.
Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance including lighting, fault-finding and control panels.
- Emergency lighting testing and maintenance.
- Basic HVAC maintenance on AHUs/FCUs.
- First-line fault finding on plant equipment.
- Monitor mechanical systems such as pumps and motors.
- On-site liaison with client and subcontractors.
- Escort and manage specialist contractors on site.
- Complete PPMs and reactive tasks within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
