Job summary

Forgewell Partners is recruiting a Mobile Maintenance Engineer for night shifts in Wakefield. You will manage genuine mechanical and electrical maintenance across modern industrial equipment, not just breakdowns.

The role offers a real scope to shape PPM schedules and drive improvements within a tight asset care team, with a company van and nights-only work pattern on 4 x 10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification or time-served NVQ Level 3.
• Electrical bias with strong mechanical fault-finding.
• Hydraulics and conveying systems experience; heavy industry background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out genuine mechanical and electrical maintenance on modern industrial equipment, not just breakdowns.
• Shape PPM schedules and drive improvements within the asset care team.
• Work nights, with a company van provided and occasional visits to other sites as required.

I'm looking to speak with experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer for a close-knit asset care team on nights. Genuine mechanical and electrical work across modern industrial equipment, not just breakdown cover. Real scope to shape PPM schedules and drive improvements.The business also invests properly in its people and equipment to match.

Requirements:

• Electrical qualification or time-served NVQ Level 3
• Genuine electrical bias, strong mechanical fault-finding
• Hydraulics and conveying systems experience
• Heavy industry background preferred
• Full UK licence, max 6 points

You’ll be based at one site most of the time but may be required to visit others as needed, you’ll be paid door to door for this and it’s a reasonable drive between sites.
