Ganymede Solutions Limited in Leeds is seeking a dual-skilled Mechanical & Electrical Technician on a permanent basis to join a UK-wide engineering team. You will service, maintain and fault-find heavy vehicles in a hands-on environment, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.

• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health & safety and local safety policy requirements, and other safety and technical standards.
• Mechanically and electrically maintain, service, fault find in vehicles in accordance with approved maintenance plans.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork for examinations and repairs is correctly completed to company standards.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Being able to read mechanical and electrical schematics.

The Role and About You:

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Commitment to safe working practices.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance activities
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline.

The successful applicant should be a safety conscious and motivated self-starter, a fully versatile team member who has well established experience within a heavy engineering background such as Automotive, Heavy Plant, Bus, HGV, Rail or Military. A flexible approach to working hours is essential as Leeds operates a 24/7 shift roster.
