Mobile Maintenance Engineer

£28,000 - £32,500 Basic + Overtime (OTE £45K+) + Training + Technical Progression + Pension + Bonus

Location: Greenwich

Are you an electrical or mechanical bias engineer looking to work for a leading company within the clean energy sector? This is a fantastic opportunity to become a technical specialist in a thriving industry, with opportunities for training and progression into more senior roles. The company is heavily involved in the UK's transition to a net zero economy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance on equipment such as pumps, actuators, heat exchangers, pressurisation units, and degassers.
• Repair and reinstate commercial plant and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on plant and associated equipment.
• Respond to reactive call-outs to resolve plant failures and reinstate heat.
• Participate in an on-call rota (typically 1 week in 4).
• Investigate root causes of plant failures and resolve operational issues.

Background Requirements

• Operational knowledge of commercial gas boilers.
• Experience in a plant room environment (1-2 years).
• Experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Marine Engineer.
• Mechanical or Electrical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
• Valid UK driving license for at least 12 months.
