Job summary

Staffline seeks a Mobile Maintenance Electrician for Cambridge/Peterborough on a permanent basis. The role pays £39,825.03 (salary including on-call standby 1:4) and operates a 40-hour week with overtime, travel time, and pension/health benefits.

Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical plant across retail sites with regular planned store visits, reactive and minor non-electrical tasks, and strict paperwork completion for PPMs.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical plant.
• Ability to complete PPMS and documentation accurately.
• Willingness to perform non-electrical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales.
• Deliver maintenance on catering and bakery equipment.
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.
• Carry out general repairs at customer sites.
• Identify faults and advise on replacements to the Line Manager.

Mobile Maintenance Electrician

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Electricianto join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer (including non-electrical).

Key Responsibilities - Mobile Maintenance Electrician

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenance
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.
• Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

Qualifications & Experience - Mobile Maintenance Electrician

• NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition.
• AM2 / 2391

On Offer - Mobile Maintenance Electrician

• £39,825.03 salary (including standby 1:4) + overtime + travel time
• 40 Hours Per Week
• Travel time paid after half hour each way
• OT paid at 1.5x Mon - Fri / 2x Sat-Sun
