Job summary

City Facilities Management is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Electrician (AST) to cover Beccles/Lowestoft sites for a major UK supermarket client. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and catering equipment, with duties including completing PPMs, paperwork, and liaising with site managers to ensure smooth operations.

You should have a full driving license, experience with a PDA system, and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1+2 or equivalent in electrical Installation / Maintenance (essential).
• City and Guilds 18th Edition (essential).
• AM2 / 2391 (essential).

Responsibilities

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales and response times.
• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within timescales and complete paperwork.
• Respond to service call requests from Helpdesk and carry out repairs as needed.
• Identify nonrepairable faults and advise on replacements with recommendations.
• Advise onsite managers of issues likely to affect site operations.
• Carry out surveys and reports for City management.
• Work with staff to maintain laid-down quality standards.
• Carry out minor alterations and installations within scope.
• Complete repairs on catering/bakery assets and comply with BER policy.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor Mercury system with live updates.
