Job summary

City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Electrician (AST) to support a major UK supermarket client across Plymouth and nearby towns. The role covers electrical, mechanical and catering equipment maintenance, with regular planned store visits, reactive work, and PPMs.

You will perform emergency lighting and fire alarm tests, undertake general repairs on customer sites, and advise on replacements when faults are non-repairable.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation and maintenance expertise required.
• Proven ability to perform electrical testing and fault finding.
• Retail maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within timescales and complete paperwork.
• Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenance.
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.
• General repairs and maintenance to customer sites as directed.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise on replacements.

Education

NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance
