• Contract Type: Permanent
• Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
• Salary: £40,295.86 Total Salary (Inclusive of 5% SLA + Standby Payment (1:4 x 13 Periods) + Overtime + Travel Time)

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our team, working with a major UK supermarket client. The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical plant, and equipment across retail outlets, including regular store visits for reactive, PPMs, and minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all paperwork is accurately completed.
2. Perform general repairs and maintenance at customer sites as designated by City Management.
3. Maintain fire alarm systems reactively and proactively.
4. Test and repair emergency lighting systems.
5. Identify faults in plant and machinery, advising the Line Manager with recommendations for replacements.

Qualifications / Experience

Essential

• NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition.
• AM2 / 2391.

The ideal candidate will also have:

• Full driving license.
• Experience using a PDA system.
• Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, including commercial ovens, dishwashers, and microwaves.
• Experience in PPM and reactive maintenance within a retail environment.
