We are recruiting for a multiskilled maintenance electrician to join a new team of mobile engineers in providing building services and plant room maintenance to key large-scale estates across Staffordshire and Cheshire. You should have an excellent understanding of plant room and building services engineering, compliance, and a multiskilled background.

The role is a permanent position paying up to £47-48k basic, Monday to Friday days (door to door). Overtime is available (x1.5/x2.0), and standby duty is 1 in 4-5 (£150 standby payment).

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Completing building services / electrical maintenance across industrial, governmental, and commercial facilities.
2. Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems.
3. Maintaining lighting, emergency systems, and building services plant room electrical systems.
4. Completing PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements.
5. Responding to Helpdesk requests with professionalism and timeliness.
6. Working on AHUs, fan coils, and general HVAC plant room.
7. Performing mechanical and fabric tasks as required.
8. Conducting compliance checks.
9. Managing small works projects.
10. Leading works by providing guidance to resident maintenance personnel, client managers, and subcontractors.
11. Providing guidance on compliance, scheduling checks, and maintaining visibility of compliance records.

Skills & Background Required

1. Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3.
2. Electrical engineering qualification / Qualified Electrician.
3. Multiskilled background, ideally with experience in general HVAC plant including AHUs, fan coils, etc.
4. 18th edition wiring regulations.
5. Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment.
6. Presentable, articulate, with a good understanding of compliance and PPM paperwork and records.
7. Ability to clear security and financial checks.
8. Driving license and willingness to operate on a mobile basis.
9. Familiarity with the Facilities Management sector.
