Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Assistant

Location: Dundonald, Newtownards, Downpatrick, and Bangor

Salary: £11.75 per hour = £21,996 per annum

Benefits: Van, Tools & Uniform Provided, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Hours: 36 hours a week – Monday to Friday – Some 6.30am start times required

We are committed to working in partnership with ASDA, aiming to provide safe, compliant, and well-maintained stores by exceeding expectations daily. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Mobile Maintenance Assistants to join our Facilities Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor general/fabric maintenance and business support tasks, including PPMs and reactive tasks across multiple stores.
• Report to the Multi-Site Technician; training will be provided to achieve competency in tasks such as:
• Weekly & monthly planned maintenance (fire alarm tests, water checks, shower cleaning, chlorination, etc.)
• Weekly store defrosting
• Minor building fabric repairs
• Minor plumbing and joinery tasks
• General ad-hoc tasks

Candidate Requirements

• Practical skills and experience in a trade, with a focus on quality and timeliness
• Positive, proactive attitude with good customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team; good organizational and prioritization skills
• IT skills, including familiarity with tablets, Word, Excel, and email
• Full UK driver’s license for roles involving multiple store locations
• Physical fitness to handle moving, lifting heavy items, and ladder work
