Job summary

The Hyde Group is seeking a Lettings Advisor to manage the end‑to‑end lettings journey, from vacancy through tenancy sign‑up, across a mobile area including Shoreham, Lancing, Brighton and beyond. You will liaise with internal teams to ensure homes are let quickly and to a high standard.

This fixed term maternity cover role emphasizes delivering excellent customer experiences, handling interviews and viewings, and maintaining accurate records. A driving license and strong IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in housing, lettings, property or customer‑focused environments.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines and targets.
• Confidence in supporting customers from diverse backgrounds, including vulnerable customers.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and customer management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lettings process from vacancy to move‑in with a positive customer experience.
• Cover mobile area including Shoreham, Lancing, Brighton, Crawley, Horsham, Lewis, Reigate and Banstead, Worthing and Woking.
• Arrange and conduct interviews, viewings and tenancy sign‑ups, adapting approach to customers.
• Coordinate with colleagues and contractors to prepare properties for letting and achieve re‑lets.
• Provide customer guidance and referrals for financial, welfare and housing advice where appropriate.
• Maintain records using CRM, Northgate and Microsoft Office while complying with policies.
