We have an exciting opportunity for flexible, skilled kitchen professionals to support our busy Northumberland coastal Inn, The Bamburgh Castle Inn.

The role involves travel to The Bamburgh Castle Inn with other team members (car-share). A full driving license and own transport are preferred but not essential. Drivers will receive a higher rate of pay and mileage reimbursement (subject to tax and NI).

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll support the kitchen team by maintaining high standards of food hygiene, managing the wash-up area, ensuring equipment cleanliness, and assisting with basic food prep.

You’ll work closely with team members and customers, demonstrating confidence and courtesy. Flexibility and personal presentation are important. You’ll keep the kitchen running smoothly by following cleaning schedules and performing other duties as needed.
