Job Role:

As Kitchen Manager, your primary focus is on delivering great food for our students. You will act as Kitchen Management in the absence of the onsite manager whilst maintaining high standards.

You will support the Operations team and onsite catering teams in setting and driving standards, managing in line with budgets and targets.

This role involves traveling and working in various schools, supporting onsite Kitchen Managers to grow the business.

You will assist with training site teams, including kitchen managers, to ensure high service quality and help with stock takes.

The key to success will be positive leadership and building strong relationships with clients and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support site management as Kitchen Manager.
  2. Adapt to different working environments and teams.
  3. Be flexible to cover staff absences at short notice.
  4. Provide high-quality service in the absence of a kitchen manager.
  5. Undertake audits and improve service quality.
  6. Engage with clients and customers about service standards.
  7. Deliver a customer-focused offer at unit level through hands-on leadership.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience in food and hospitality, preferably as Chef Manager.
  • Level 3 Food Safety certification.
  • Clean, well-presented appearance.
  • Flexible and forward-thinking.
  • Attention to detail and proactive approach.
  • Good communication skills.
  • IT literate.
  • Team-oriented and able to lead independently.
