Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking an experienced Joiner to perform joinery repairs on void properties in social housing. The role involves carrying out first and second fix joinery, door hanging, frames, fittings, and kitchen installations to bring homes back to lettable standard for new tenants.

Candidates should have NVQ level 2 or equivalent and be prepared to work on voids and planned maintenance projects, with a company van and fuel card provided or mileage paid.

Qualifications

• Experience in joinery repairs on void properties or social housing.
• Experience with planned maintenance or social housing repairs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• First and second fix joinery tasks.
• Hanging and repairing internal and external doors.
• Fitting door frames, locks, handles and ironmongery.
• Kitchen repairs and installations.
• Fitting worktops, units and cupboards.
• Skirting boards, architraves and floorboards.
