Recruitment Helpline in Ellesmere Port is seeking a mobile hydraulic hose engineer to service customers across the North West. You’ll diagnose faults, fit replacement hoses and get machinery running again, with an emphasis on building customer relationships.

The role offers a basic salary around £28,000, with overtime, on-call premiums and commission to enhance earnings. Training and tools are provided, plus a company van when on call.

Qualifications

• Experience manufacturing and fitting hydraulic hoses.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and components.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on-site.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and honest approach.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites across the North West to handle hydraulic breakdowns.
• Diagnose hydraulic faults and identify causes of failures.
• Manufacture and assemble hydraulic hoses on-site.
• Repair, replace and service hydraulic components and hoses.
• Test hoses and hydraulic systems for safety and suitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and seek new business.
