Job summary

Hydraquip is the UK’s largest independent Hose & Hydraulics company, providing on-site hose replacement and hydraulic repairs across diverse industries. We are looking for a customer-focused Field Service Engineer to visit client sites, diagnose faults, and deliver safe, high-quality repairs while building lasting customer relationships.

This role includes an on-call rota, full training, and career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience replacing hydraulic hoses and components on industrial equipment or vehicles.
• Valid UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Confident when dealing directly with customers and providing on-site service.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to replace hoses and components.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs safely and efficiently.
• Work independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Update jobs and reports via the company mobile app.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.

Role and Responsibilities

• Attending customer sites to replace hydraulic hoses and components
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently
• Working independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Updating jobs and reports via the company mobile app
• Building relationships with new and existing customers

Essential Experience

What we’re looking for

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Confidence dealing directly with customers

Desirable Experience

• Mobile or on‑call engineering experience
• Commercial awareness or customer development experience

This role includes participation in an on‑call rota, typically one week in every four.
