Job summary

Excel Engineering Recruitment LTD is recruiting an HVAC Engineer / Air Conditioning Engineer for a field-based role in Watford and surrounding areas. You will service and maintain a range of commercial air conditioning systems on a mobile basis, across various sites for prestigious clients.

The ideal candidate will have F‑Gas certification, City & Guilds/NVQ in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration, and proven experience with VRV/VRF and Split/Multi‑Split systems.

Qualifications

• F‑Gas certification.
• City & Guilds or NVQ in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration.
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems.
• Strong knowledge of VRV, VRF, Split and Multi‑Split systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive maintenance on a wide range of commercial air conditioning systems across Watford, home counties and London.
• Maintain equipment including VRV/VRF systems, Split and Multi‑Split systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs) and other commercial HVAC equipment.
• Work across a varied portfolio of high‑profile sites for household‑name clients, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
