Job description

Mobile HVAC Engineer - Liverpool

Salary: GBP25.23 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 8am - 5pm (40 hours per week)

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Mobile HVAC Engineer to join our team, maintaining and servicing HVAC systems across 8 schools in the Knowsley area. This role involves preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and emergency response to critical HVAC systems, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform PPM tasks on HVAC equipment and complete necessary documentation.
  2. Respond to emergency callouts and conduct repairs on critical systems.
  3. Carry out minor works and repairs on air conditioning (AC) units and air handling units (AHUs).
  4. Monitor and maintain BMS systems (Building Management Systems).
  5. Conduct compliance testing to JSP375 standards.
  6. Support general reactive maintenance across school buildings.
  7. Participate in the on-call rota for urgent maintenance requests.

What We're Looking For:
  1. City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning or equivalent.
  2. Safe handling of refrigerants certification.
  3. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and repairs.
  4. Experience with BMS systems (preferred but not essential).
  5. City & Guilds in Electrical (desirable).
  6. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Candidates must have an Enhanced DBS.
