Job summary
Zenith Group in Birmingham is seeking a Mobile HGV Technician to service trailers, trucks and LCVs at customer sites in the Birmingham area. You will join a 175+ strong mobile fleet, carrying out repairs, diagnostics and servicing to meet current legislation.
The role emphasizes first-time fix quality and practical problem solving. The position offers overtime opportunities, 20 days holiday, a pension scheme, birthday leave, and access to advanced tooling and IRTEC/Double Deck certifications.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
- Full valid driving licence.
- Experience in diagnosing faults in HGVs and trailers.
- Ability to work on customer sites with good communication.
- Strong customer service and commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair fleets of trailers, trucks and LCVs on customer sites.
- Fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Inspect engines and electrical components and rectify faults within timeframes.
- Service, repair and maintain trucks and trailers, including large double deck trailers.
- Work overtime with rate uplift when required.
