Job description

Mobile HGV Technician - Joining Bonus of £1,500 !!

Biffa Waste - reporting to Bristol depot covering the south-central region

Pay Rate: £19.22 - £20.65 per hour

Shift Pattern: Flexible working shifts, Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), with some Saturdays when required

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.
• Perform scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments.
• Work with a diverse fleet ranging from light commercial vans to 44t articulated assets, providing opportunities to develop your technical skills.

Candidate Requirements

• Fully skilled with a Level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification, City and Guilds, or NVQ qualification.
• Minimum of a car/van driving licence.

Ideal Experience

Previous roles such as PSV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Technician, Lorry Mechanic, LGV Technician, or HGV Technician are desirable. However, we welcome skilled or semi-skilled technicians interested in upskilling and career development.
