Our client is involved in the transport industry with over 7 depots across the country and is seeking a self-motivated and eager HGV Technician to join their team. This role is mobile, covering their sites across the Midlands.

Key Information:

• Permanent / Full-Time
• Location: Loughborough
• Salary: £20 per hour
• Shifts: 6am – 3pm, 42 hours per week
• Company pension
• On-site parking

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform repairs and regular maintenance on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), trailers, and other fleet vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with current laws and regulations.
2. Diagnose fleet issues and plan efficient repairs to minimize downtime.
3. Maintain detailed records, including inspection documents and job sheets, to ensure compliance.
4. Provide roadside repair services for breakdowns, ensuring minimal operational disruption.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Fully qualified (NVQ or City and Guilds)
• Own tools
• At least 5 years of experience working with HGV trucks as a technician
