Job summary

Auto Windscreens is seeking Mobile Technician Assistants to support our Mobile Technicians in delivering high-quality vehicle glass repairs and replacements across a variety of vehicles. You will learn on the job, gain valuable skills, and have the opportunity to progress into a fully qualified Mobile Technician role while building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• A practical, hands-on approach to work.
• Interest in automotive, mechanical, or technical work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, hardworking, and team‑oriented.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous automotive experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Mobile Technicians with vehicle glass repairs and replacements.
• Preparing vehicles, tools, and equipment for repair work.
• Supporting technicians in delivering excellent customer service.
• Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and stock levels.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Learning technical skills and industry knowledge through on-the-job training.
• Building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
