Job summary

City Facilities Management is expanding its maintenance division in Caerphilly. The General Maintenance Technician will perform planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, including basic plumbing, joinery, and groundwork.

The role is mobile but anchored to a base in Caerphilly, with a company vehicle and tools provided. You will work to ensure sites stay safe, compliant, and operational, delivering high standards of work while coordinating with site teams and following SLAs.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• GCSEs or equivalent.
• iPad/PC literacy is required.
• Ability to perform varied fabric and ground repair tasks to a high standard.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled and reactive maintenance within SLAs across allocated sites.
• Work safely and follow Health & Safety guidelines.
• Build relationships with site teams.
• Update and close jobs using Mercury platform.
• Order and collect materials for repairs.
• Carry out general fabric and ground repair tasks and basic plumbing.
