Job summary

Mitie Group plc. seeks a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer - Gas/AC/HVAC Bias to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites in Stafford.

You will keep gas and HVAC systems safe, compliant, and fully operational through proactive maintenance and rapid fault diagnosis. The role requires substantial gas/ HVAC experience, formal commercial gas qualifications, strong safety knowledge, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in maintenance, testing, fault finding, and repair of gas, heating, ventilation, and HVAC systems.
• Relevant commercial gas qualifications including COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, and CODNCO1.
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation, compliance requirements, and safe systems of work.
• Experience delivering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance within a Facilities Management environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on gas appliances and associated plant equipment.
• Respond to reactive and emergency maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently.
• Complete maintenance activities on gas boilers, heating systems, pumps, ventilation, and HVAC equipment.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, in line with contractual timescales and service standards.
• Accurately complete service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
