Job summary

ISS UK Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile Gas Engineer to service commercial gas, heating, combustion and HVAC systems across North London within the M25. The role covers PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding, servicing, repairs and installations on a mix of commercial and domestic gas systems.

You will work independently across multiple sites with fixed hours, overtime opportunities and long-term contract security. Gas Safe registration and UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial gas, combustion, and heating maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• FM or commercial building services environment experience.
• Ability to install, service and repair across a varied portfolio.
• Gas Safe Registered, IPAF and/or PASMA, and a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on gas, heating, and building services equipment.
• Carry out servicing, repairs and installation work on commercial and domestic gas systems.
• Participate in the out-of-hours callout rota (approximately 1 in 15).
• Maintain plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas to high housekeeping standards.
• Issue and manage Permits to Work and monitor contractor performance.
