Job summary

SR PLUMBING NW LTD is looking for a Gas Engineer to support domestic gas and heating work across Hull and East Yorkshire. In this role, you will be responsible for boiler installations, servicing, and carrying out safety checks to ensure compliance with all regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold current Gas Safe registration and have experience with common gas appliances. Benefits include a starting salary of £40,000, a company van, and a permanent full‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Gas Safe registration for domestic gas work.
• Domestic gas qualifications covering boilers and common gas appliances.
• Experience with boiler installations, servicing, and gas safety checks.
• Good understanding of domestic heating systems and controls.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete domestic gas work including appliance checks and gas safety visits.
• Install boilers and heating controls to a safe, professional standard.
• Carry out boiler servicing and planned gas maintenance work.
• Complete CP12s and required gas paperwork accurately.
• Identify unsafe situations and follow Gas Safe procedures.
• Explain completed work clearly to customers.
