Job summary

SR PLUMBING NW LTD is seeking a Gas Engineer to support domestic gas and heating work across Cambridge. The role involves boiler installations, servicing, gas safety visits, and following Gas Safe procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess current Gas Safe registration and relevant domestic gas qualifications. The position offers a basic starting salary of £40,000, a company van, and is a permanent full-time role focused on booked gas appointments.

Qualifications

• Current Gas Safe registration for domestic gas work.
• Domestic gas qualifications covering boilers and common gas appliances.
• Experience with boiler installations, servicing, and gas safety checks.
• Good understanding of domestic heating systems and controls.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete domestic gas work including appliance checks and gas safety visits.
• Install boilers and related heating controls to a safe, professional standard.
• Carry out boiler servicing and planned gas maintenance work.
• Complete CP12s and required gas paperwork accurately.
• Identify unsafe situations and follow the correct procedures.
