Job summary

SR PLUMBING NW LTD is seeking a Gas Engineer to support domestic gas and heating work across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Responsibilities include boiler installations, servicing, and safety checks.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Gas Safe registration and possess experience with domestic heating systems. This full-time position offers a £40,000 basic starting salary, company van, and additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Gas Safe registration for domestic gas work.
• Domestic gas qualifications covering boilers and common gas appliances.
• Experience with boiler installations, servicing and gas safety checks.
• Good understanding of domestic heating systems and controls.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A tidy, reliable and customer-conscious way of working.

Responsibilities

• Complete domestic gas work including appliance checks and gas safety visits.
• Install boilers and heating controls to a safe, professional standard.
• Carry out boiler servicing and planned gas maintenance work.
• Complete CP12s and required gas paperwork accurately.
• Identify unsafe situations and follow correct Gas Safe procedures.
• Explain completed work clearly to customers.
• Keep job records up to date for each appointment.
