Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a qualified Mobile Gas Engineer to support our reactive maintenance team across London. You will deliver high-quality gas maintenance, repair, and installation services while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

You will respond to reactive requests, perform PPMs, diagnose faults, install and service gas systems, and maintain safety records. A full UK driving licence and Gas Safe registration are essential.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration with relevant commercial qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A).
• Proven experience in commercial gas engineering.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Proficient in using mobile technology for job management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive maintenance requests for gas heating systems, boilers, and appliances across client sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on gas equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and statutory requirements.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimize client downtime.
• Install, commission, and service commercial gas heating systems and appliances.
• Conduct gas safety checks and maintain accurate records of all work completed.
• Ensure all work complies with Gas Safety Regulations and relevant industry standards.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a high standard.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent JLL professionally at all times.
• Complete job sheets, risk assessments, and method statements accurately and promptly.
• Participate in an on-call rota as required.

We're looking for a qualified Mobile Gas Engineer to join our reactive maintenance team across London. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality gas maintenance, repair, and installation services across a diverse commercial property portfolio, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive maintenance requests for gas heating systems, boilers, and appliances across multiple client sites
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on gas equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and statutory requirements
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimize client downtime
• Install, commission, and service commercial gas heating systems and appliances

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial gas engineering
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation
• Proficient in using mobile technology for job management

Desirable

• Additional Gas Safe qualifications (CDGA1, CIGA1, TCPCP1)
• Experience working across commercial office, retail, or mixed-use properties
• Electrical qualifications (18th Edition)
• PASMA or IPAF certification
