Job summary

TipTopJob seeks an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to cover commercial sites across South East London. You will perform PPMs, reactive repairs, and fault finding on heating, boiler rooms and HVAC systems.

The role requires ACS Commercial Gas tickets and F-Gas certification, plus a full UK driving licence. A company van and fuel card are provided to support on-site work.

Qualifications

• Commercial Gas Certification with ACS Commercial Gas tickets (COCN1 / CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1, ICPN1).
• F-Gas Certification Category 1 (F:Gas).
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean or low points).

Responsibilities

• Planned and Reactive Maintenance: carry out routine PPMs, servicing, and reactive repairs on commercial heating systems, boilers, water heaters and AC equipment.
• Diagnostics and Fault Finding: inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical plant room issues and refrigeration/HVAC circuits.
• Compliance and Safety: ensure all work adheres to Gas Safe regulations, F-Gas standards and British Safety regulations.
• System Testing: perform gas tightness testing, flue gas analysis and complete digital job sheets via CAFM / mobile software.
• Client Engagement: act as a professional technical point of contact for on-site facility managers and building owners.

• Salary: GBP52,000 per annum + Company Van and Fuel Card

Working Hours: Monday : Friday (Standard Day Shift)

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas and FGAS Engineer to cover commercial sites across South East London. In this role, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and fault finding across commercial heating, boiler plant rooms, and air conditioning/HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned and Reactive Maintenance: Carry out routine PPMs, servicing, and reactive breakdown repairs on commercial heating systems, boilers, water heaters, and AC equipment.
• Diagnostics and Fault Finding: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical plant room issues and refrigeration/HVAC circuits efficiently.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work adheres to Gas Safe regulations, F:Gas compliance standards, and British Safety regulations.
• System Testing: Perform gas tightness testing, flue gas analysis, and complete digital job sheets via CAFM / mobile software.
• Client Engagement: Act as a professional technical point of contact for on:site facility managers and building owners.
