Job description

Required: 2 x Mobile Gas Engineers

Employment Type:

Permanent - Full Time

Location:

Mobile based in Devon (ideally 1 based in Plymouth, 1 based in Exeter)

Salary:

Up to £44K depending on experience

Company Overview:

We are working on behalf of a national M&E/Building Services Contractor seeking to expand their team with qualified Mobile Gas Engineers.

Job Description:

1. Undertake heating engineering and plumbing duties, including reactive repairs, boiler servicing, installations, and maintenance.
2. Follow relevant Gas Safety regulations, issue notices and certificates, and maintain up-to-date Gas Safety records.
3. Use the approved order system to obtain quotes for materials and stock from authorized suppliers.
4. Participate in the on-call system to provide 24/7 emergency coverage across various sites.
5. Maintain regular contact with site supervisors and work coordinators.
6. Complete all required training as per regulations.

Additional Notes:

This is a mobile role across Devon and Somerset, involving work on MoD sites for reactive and PPM tasks. Experience in renewables is preferred but not essential. Successful candidates will be expected to join the on-call rota.

Technical Experience & Qualifications:

Applicants with Commercial Gas qualifications are preferred; however, Domestic experience will also be considered.
