Job summary

Halmer Recruit is seeking an experienced Mobile Garden Maintenance Team Leader to manage a small workforce across prestigious private gardens, roof terraces and country estates around London and the Home Counties. The role requires travel within the M25 and occasional attendance at the Leighton Buzzard office for initial training.

You will lead with high horticultural standards, develop junior team members and ensure exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years' professional gardening experience.
• At least 2 years' experience leading a garden maintenance team as Team Leader/Foreman/Supervisor.
• Experience maintaining high-end private gardens.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential and comfortable driving a company van in London.
• Based within the M25 and able to travel across London sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a garden maintenance team across prestigious sites.
• Maintain high-end private gardens, roof terraces and country estates.
• Carry out lawn care, hedge cutting, pruning, planting and seasonal maintenance.
• Diagnose plant health issues and apply treatments as required.
• Organise daily workloads and travel between sites throughout London.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and ensure health and safety compliance.
