Job description

Mobile Forklift Technician

Location: West Midlands areas

Salary: Up to £34,000 basic per annum plus overtime (OTE £42,000)

Hours: Monday to Friday

Ref: 28387

We are currently seeking a Forklift Technician with a proven background and skill set in this field. Candidates from Plant, Engineering, HGV, or Agricultural backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. Our client aims to expand their team of Field Service Engineers to maintain forklifts within their customer base, traveling across sites in the Birmingham area.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform all levels of technical work, from general servicing and repairs to diagnostics
  • Complete repairs to a high standard, following manufacturer procedures and processes
  • General maintenance and repairs with attention to detail
Requirements:
  • Self-sufficient, able to manage own time and workload according to customer and site needs
  • Experience dealing with customers and the public, as this is a customer-facing role
  • Professional and courteous conduct, representing the brand
  • Good working knowledge of forklifts and related equipment
  • Industry-recognised qualifications demonstrating adequate training
  • Full UK driving licence
