Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing materials handling business. The role is field-based servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and warehouse equipment across a local customer base.

You will diagnose mechanical and basic electrical faults, attend sites within roughly a 50-mile radius, and work to a planned servicing schedule. Full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical engineering/service & maintenance experience.
• Forklift or materials handling experience is desirable.
• Engineers from a strong mechanical background looking to develop within MHE will also be considered.
• Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge is beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE.
• Diagnose and fault-find mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Attend customer sites within approximately a 50-mile radius.
• Work to a planned schedule of servicing and maintenance.
• Complete service reports and manage van stock accurately.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
