Job summary
Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer to cover West Yorkshire. You will service, repair and maintain diesel, gas and electric forklifts at customer sites, travelling across the region.
The role offers a generous package including a company van, fuel card, door-to-door pay and generous overtime. Training and career progression are provided to develop your skills and earnings potential.
Qualifications
- NVQ / City & Guilds in an engineering discipline (preferred but not essential).
- A valid UK driving licence.
- Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer or Plant Engineer.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, repairing and maintaining diesel, gas and electric forklifts.
- Travelling to customer sites across West Yorkshire.
- Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carrying out breakdown repairs and planned maintenance.
- Ensuring all equipment is safe and compliant with industry standards.
- Providing excellent customer service while working on site.
