Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is recruiting Forklift Engineers for mobile and site-based roles across the UK. Basic salary ranges from £36,000 to £43,000, with overtime at 1.5x and a company van provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer or similar.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Full UK driving licence (for mobile roles).
• A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Conduct LOLER inspections and ensure compliance standards.
• Complete thorough safety checks and pre-delivery inspections (PDI).
• Carry out breakdowns and reactive maintenance, minimising customer downtime.
