Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Forklift Technician to service and repair forklifts across Hinckley and surrounding areas. Salary £33,000–£37,000 per annum, plus overtime and a company van. Hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

The role involves servicing, diagnostics and on-site repairs to a high standard, with strong attention to detail and customer-facing responsibilities. A company van and overtime opportunities support the role.

Qualifications

• Self-sufficient and able to manage time/workload to meet customer/site requirements.
• Customer-facing experience and professional conduct.
• Good working knowledge of forklift and related equipment.
• Industry-recognised qualifications indicating adequate training on the equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• All levels of technical works; from general servicing and repairs to diagnostics
• Complete repairs to a high standard, adhere to manufacturer procedures and processes, become part of a team, and mainly bring high attention to detail
• General maintenance & repairs
