This role is commutable from Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham, Wakefield, and surrounding areas. It is a reactive position supporting the company's needs in service, maintenance, and repair of material handling equipment, including electric counterbalance forklifts, diesel forklifts, articulated forklifts, reach trucks, side loaders, and manufacturers such as Toyota, Komatsu, Combilift, Caterpillar (CAT), Hyster-Yale, and more.

Responsibilities of the Mobile Forklift Engineer include:

• Servicing and repairing MHE equipment on-site and at customer locations
• Maintaining strong customer relationships
• Diagnosing faults quickly and effectively to minimize downtime
• Providing solutions to customer queries on-site and liaising with the hire desk as needed
• Following safety and housekeeping standards in the workshop and at customer sites
• Representing the company professionally and knowledgeably

Ideal candidates will have previous experience as an engineer, mechanic, plant fitter, service engineer, forklift engineer, or similar roles in the material handling or service industry. Experience with electrical/hydraulic systems, excellent customer service skills, and a motivated attitude are desirable.
