Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Mobile FMD Technician to service and maintain a customer fleet across Kent and surrounding areas. You will perform preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs at customer sites, with responsibility for accurate documentation and handovers.

The role requires mechanical or refrigeration experience, a full driving licence, and strong communication skills. You will travel between sites as part of a team within the Fleet Management Division, contributing to

Qualifications

GCSEs in Mathematics and English, F-Gas 2079, electrical and mechanical certificates.
Experience reading wiring diagrams and technical information.
Essential – Mechanical and/or Refrigeration experience; computer literacy; strong oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

Undertake comprehensive preventative maintenance and repair standards on customer vehicles.
Diagnose faults and ensure correct parts replacement in line with warranties.
Complete job cards, service sheets and timesheets accurately and promptly.
Attend customer sites to carry out repairs and provide end-to-end handovers.
Maintain safe working practices and uphold health and safety standards.
