Job summary
Trane Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer for our Thermo King transport refrigeration equipment. You will work on customer sites across the UK, performing installation, service and repair, while maximizing revenue opportunities through efficient service delivery.
The role requires a strong background in refrigeration with at least 5 years' experience, 3-phase electrical work, and a clean UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- GCSE level education with at least 3 grade C or above.
- 2078 Refrigerant Handling qualification.
- 2079 F-Gas qualification.
- Experience in electrics including 3 phase; brazing certified.
Responsibilities
- Install, service and repair Thermo King transport refrigeration units at customer sites.
- Optimise van stock and maintain service delivery to customers.
- Perform safety checks on vehicles and equipment daily.
- Maintain knowledge of product and customer requirements to ISO9001 standards.
- Complete paperwork and online (PDA) requirements for invoicing and customer interface.
- Participate in training and Certi-Tech certification processes.
- Liaise with central control regarding job start/completion times and costs.
