Job summary

KAUTEC RECRUITMENT Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Fleet Technician for the Essex/ East London area. You will travel to client sites, perform callouts, preventative maintenance, and MOT preparation on a variety of HGVs and related equipment.

The role requires a fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or an apprenticeship-accredited path. You will work with a fully equipped van and travel in a designated area, ensuring high standards of repair and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or accredited via a recognised apprenticeship.
• Excellent understanding of vehicle technology.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Perform callouts and preventative maintenance at client sites.
• Repair engines, diagnostics, and running defects.
• Electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic inspection and corrections.
• Chassis, fabrication work and MOT preparation.
• Travel within designated area with a fully equipped van.

Mobile Fleet Technician - Essex/ East London

Day shifts -Paid door to door

Are you ready to go on the road and take your technical skills to a dedicated network of customer sites?

If so, then this could be the role for you?

We are looking for a self motivated and independent HGV Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients various workshops in a designated area providing:

• Callouts
• Preventative Maintenance
• Emergency Breakdowns
• Pre-arranged servicing at rural sites
• MOT Preparation
• Engine work and diagnostic investigations
• Correction of running defects
• Chassis and fabrication work
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Improvement of vehicle standards
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

You will be travelling within a designated area and have use of a fully equipped van.

We require an excellent understanding of vehicle technology, and be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion

In this role, no 2 days will ever be the same and the products that you work on will be diverse. HGV's, Ground Support GSE, RORO (Roll on Roll Off), Fire and rescue, Tractors and Tugs plus other bespoke operating platforms.

Your industry is moving faster with every day that passes. Electric & Hydrogen Vehicles are now part of the present and you will be trained on the newest products and repair techniques when required.

AClass2 Licence would be beneficial.

You will need to be a fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or have been accredited via an authorised Apprenticeship.
