Job summary

KAUTEC RECRUITMENT Ltd is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites across designated areas. The role involves starting from home, driving a fully expensed light commercial vehicle, and performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diverse commercial vehicles including HGVs and related equipment.

You will handle callouts, emergency breakdowns, MOT prep, chassis/fabrication work, and electrical/wiring inspections.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or accredited via authorised Apprenticeship.
• Class 2 Licence would be beneficial.
• Experience with HGVs, GSE, RORO and other vehicle platforms is preferred.

Field Service Technician

Day shifts - Monday to Friday

Are you ready to go on the road and take your technical skills to a dedicated network of customer sites?

If so, then this could be the role for you?

We are looking for a self motivated and independent Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients various workshops in a designated area providing:

Your day starts when you start your vehicle!. Your commute is from your front door to your fully expensed and kitted out Light Commercial Vehicle

In this role, no 2 days will ever be the same and the products that you work on will be diverse. HGV's, Ground SupportGSE, RORO (Roll on Roll Off), Fire and rescue, Tractors and Tugs plus other bespoke operating platforms.

We are looking for a self motivated and independent HGV Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients various workshops in a designated area providing:

• Callouts
• Preventative Maintenance
• Emergency Breakdowns
• Pre-arranged servicing at rural sites
• MOT Preparation
• Engine work and diagnostic investigations
• Correction of running defects
• Chassis and fabrication work
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Improvement of vehicle standards
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Your industry is moving faster with every day that passes. Electric & Hydrogen Vehicles are now part of the present and you will be trained on the newest products and repair techniques when required.

A Class2 Licence would be beneficial.

You will need to be a fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or have been accredited via an authorised Apprenticeship.
