About The Role

We are recruiting for a Mobile Fitter Engineer, covering the Southern Water area, based out of the Millbrook depot in Southampton. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £50,000 per annum plus benefits.

As an essential member of our transport team, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of vehicles, including hydraulic and high-pressure jetting systems, conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Maintaining hydraulic and jetting systems.
  2. Vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  3. Responding to breakdowns and performing repairs.
  4. Ensuring compliance with legislation and safety standards.
About You

The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial HGV servicing, a Class B Driving Licence, and industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds or equivalent). Class C+E / HGV Class 2 licences are essential. Additional qualifications like IOSH or NEBOSH are a plus. Water industry experience and hydraulics knowledge are desirable.
