Job summary

Ride On Entertainment is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, repair and install children's rides across South East London, Essex and Kent. The role is field-based with a 40-hour week, starting between 5:00am and 6:00am and finishing by mid-afternoon.

You will travel on a planned route, perform routine maintenance, and ensure rides are clean, safe and fully operational. A full UK driving licence and practical mechanical/electrical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical, mechanical or maintenance experience.
• Confidence using hand tools and completing minor repairs.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily route.
• Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious approach.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• The physical ability to lift, load and move equipment.
• Willingness to start work between 5.00am and 6.00am.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining children's rides.
• Finding faults and completing basic electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Cleaning and presenting equipment to a high standard.
• Checking that rides are safe, secure and fully operational.
• Installing, relocating and removing equipment when required.
• Loading and unloading equipment from the company van.
• Managing your workload and completing scheduled visits efficiently.
• Communicating professionally with retail-site teams.
