Job summary

Ride On Entertainment is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, maintain and install children's rides at shopping centres and retail locations across South East London, Essex and Kent. You will travel a planned route visiting three to four sites per day, ensuring rides are safe, clean and operational.

The role suits someone with field service or maintenance experience, comfortable with basic electrical or mechanical repairs, and able to work independently with a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical, mechanical or maintenance experience.
• Confidence using hand tools and completing minor repairs.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily route.
• Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious approach.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Physical ability to lift, load and move equipment.
• Willingness to start work between 5.00am and 6.00am.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining children's rides.
• Finding faults and completing basic electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Cleaning and presenting equipment to a high standard.
• Checking rides are safe, secure and fully operational.
• Installing, relocating and removing equipment when required.
• Loading and unloading equipment from the company van.
• Managing workload and completing scheduled visits efficiently.
• Communicating professionally with retail-site teams.
