Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer based around Orpington. You will service, maintain, install and repair specialist mechanical equipment at customer sites, with travel across the Kent area.

A mechanical background and fault-finding skills are essential, with the ability to read engineering drawings and operate a full UK driving licence. The role offers a salary of £35,000-£40,000 plus OEM training, a company van, fuel card, pension and holiday.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering background.
• Experience on machinery or industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Installation and commissioning of machinery.
• Planned and preventative maintenance.
• Mechanical fault finding and diagnostics.
• On-site work with customers.
• Complete service reports and documentation.
• Travel to customer sites across the Kent area.
